This ministry is available for anyone who needs clothes at no charge. Clothes for all sizes from infants to adults will be available for all seasons including summer and winter. If you are in need of clothing, this is the place for you! If you have some things you would like to donate to this unique ministry, please do so by bringing the clothes to the church at any scheduled activity/event and notify one of Deacons that you would like to make a donation. We want to provide excellence with our clothing ministry. Our community needs to know that they can receive quality garments for free at Morning Star during their time of need.

The Clothes Closet is open every 2nd Saturday from 8am-12 noon of each Month.

The following is the foundation of a clothing ministry of excellence:

Donations:

  • Clean clothes that are in good condition. A good rule of thumb is children’s clothing that a child could wear to school or adult clothing that an adult could wear to work or a casual setting.
  • No torn or stained clothing
  • No used undergarments (underwear, bras, etc.)
  • No bathing suits
  • No mismatched or extremely worn shoes
  • No houseware, decorations, appliances, toys, furniture, etc.

General Mission Circle Members

Culinary Ministry

The Culinary Ministry’s desire is to provide excellence in the quality of our food and the service to our members & guests. By doing so, we humbly demonstrate Christian service.  The ministry members are responsible for planning menus, purchasing and preparing the food, setup of dining area, serving food, and cleanup of the dining and kitchen areas.

All uses of the kitchen must be coordinated with the President.   Private use of the facility must be coordinated through our Pastor and the Administrative Committee.
